Wonderful friendly service in this historical area of Belgrade. Been here for a work dinner and also for lunch. Great at both times of day. In the evening they also have live Serbian music which really adds to the atmosphere. Food is really tasty as well.

Excellent restaurant of Serbian cuisine. All dishes are traditional, well prepared. Very nice terrace. I would like to separately note the work of the staff, we were surrounded by attention and care. The food is delicious, but since we tried a lot of different Serbian cuisine, I can give it a solid 4.
4.5 stars. Lovely location on one of the most vibrant streets in Belgrade. The food is very nice. Service feels slow and rushed. The place handles a large crowd, so it ends up feeling a bit like a factory: efficient, but not very personal.
slow service, took them too long, but the food was to die for and drinks were great. a true kafana experience with the live players was enjoyable, the song were so touching, and the whole evening was amazing. except the waiters, i don’t know if it was because of the way we were dressed or our haircuts, but we love a good kafana and we’ll spend our last dime here. also, noted, the portions are huge so have that in mind
Pleasant atmosphere, there’s something about Skadarlija that always stirs something in people. The waiter was very attentive, and the portion meant for two could easily feed three. Prices are reasonable, and you can truly enjoy your meal in peace
I apologize if some photos are a bit blurry I want to thank our waiter Pavle. He was one of the most amazing waiters we've ever had. He showed so much compassion and understanding towards us as we were with a young baby. This was a really pleasant surprise and an experience. The restaurant offers outer and inside seating. The garden is so beautiful and it was a shame we couldn't enjoy it - the weather was really humid and hot so we decided to sit inside as there was AC. The restaurant is really clean, their toilets are very clean too. The food is superb We had some grilled meat, and ćevapi were one of the best I've ever had. The potatoes were also out of this world. Uštipci were super delicious, and the sausage was good. The pinkish meat was okay compared to the rest, but still tasty. We've never had halumi before and I'm glad we tried it here because it was really well prepared. Tri leće / tres leches was really tasty, but a bit too sweet for my taste. I would suggest you split it between two people. My brother-in-law got teletina ispod sača and it was so tender, juicy and just an amazing dish. It's definitely on our to-try list next time! The parking is pretty difficult to come by, but there are different parking lots around Skadarlija that you can park at. They're more expensive but you'll at least be able to enjoy the restaurant and Skadarlija fully.
The main reason for my review is the food. I had the “juneći gulaš” and it was the best goulash i’ve ever eaten. The atmosphere was great even tho we visited while the country was grieving the tragedy (happened last year at the railway station) and there was no music allowed anywhere. The gentleman who served us was a bit annoyed at our questions (about food) but other than that, it was a pleasant experience.
We reserved a table in the garden — and honestly, that was a good idea because it looked really hard to find a spot without one. The atmosphere was warm and lively, people were well-dressed, and the staff was genuinely kind and attentive. There was live Serbian music playing, which matched the mood perfectly and made the night feel really special. We ordered the mixed grill platter — it was huge. The two of us couldn’t finish it, although starting with a cheese plate probably didn’t help. We had a bottle of local white wine and tried a few rakija options — the honey one was especially nice. Everything we ate was delicious, and the whole night left us with such a good feeling.
